Procedure
The Campus Recruitment Program of PGDM (RM) commences on 2nd January 2013. The batch of 2011-13 is gearing up to face the challenges and demands of the recruitment process. 48% of the students have work experience which complements the managerial skills imbibed by them in the institute. The batch is a perfect mix of youth and experience, which is what makes it a unique one.
Pre Placement Talk (PPT)
The Pre-Placement Talk has been the standard practice to facilitate interaction between the industry and the students. The organisations participating in the placement process are requested to make a brief presentation about themselves, the opportunities and prospects ahead for the aspirants along with the detailed job description for the positions they wish to recruit for. In order to facilitate the process of PPT, the institute will provide LCD / OHP, TV / VCR. The recent addition to the list is the video conferencing facility, which will act as supplement wherever direct interaction /interview is not possible.
Curriculum Vitae
The institute has a standard format for applying to various organisations. However, in case the organisation has a format of its own, it should be sent in advance to facilitate the process. The CVs of the students can be provided either in the institutes standard format or the specified format as per the organisations rules.
Guidelines / Rules for Organisations
The following norms would help the organisations to decide about their participation in final placement:
Companies will be allotted a slot in the recruitment program schedule for conducting their final recruitment process. These slots are decided purely by cumulative student preferences. But as and when situation demands a mutually convenient time and date would be allotted to the organisation.
Declaration of the final results immediately after the interview would be expected.
All communication regarding the placement is to be made to the placement office.
Pre Placement Offers:
Of late more and more companies are offering PPOs to the summer Interns. Exposure of 8 weeks in an organisation, gives both the organisation and the student an opportunity to gauge each other's compatibility. Companies could, therefore, consider PPOs and communicate their decision to the institute before the Placement Week commences.
