“Vilakshan” is a Sanskrit word and has the following
connotations: unique, amazing, unusual, and distinctive. The XIMB Journal of
Management attempts to include original, primary data in most of its published
lead papers. The intent of this exercise is to present new insights into
managerial situations.
Every issue of the XIMB Journal of
Management carries an eclectic and diverse mix of papers and articles. The
first issue, to be launched shortly comprises the following sections: lead
articles, notes and comments, and student contribution. Lead Articles are
scholarly pieces. The articles
would pertain to any management field or topic having relevance to management
academicians. Notes and Comments seek to inform readers about
emerging issues in the world of management. The Student Contribution section
seeks to foster student scholarship.
